It was announced in Paris today that Milan, Italy will host Expo 2015
under the theme "Feeding the Planet / Energy for Life." It was
selected by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) over rival
city Izmir, Turkey.

I don't know whether i should believe or not. Because just a few minutes ago the results show that Izmir is the winner, but now the home page does not say the same things. Are you sure Milan is better than Izmir for this organization??...
The original blog posting was based on Turkish news reports that said that Izmir had won. They later corrected themselves:

Yes. I posted incorrect information on the web site for a few minutes this morning based on incorrect news Reports from Hürriyet.
ExpoMuseum is independent of the Bureau International des Expositions. I am based in San Francisco, California, USA and updated the site once I got the (incorrect) news from Hürriyet. I corrected it a few minutes later when they issued their own correction.
are you sure that there is no chicanery in this voting?
i really believe that there is a chicanery cause there is an evident for this.firstly ,its announced that the winner is izmir ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE of EXPO but after a short time it is turnd into milano.i think there is a dilemma with voting.

The official site of the BIE, the Bureau International des Expositions... http://www.bie-paris.org/main/index.php?lang=1 ...isn't reporting the winner yet, but they don't typically update their web site often. When Yeosu, South Korea won Expo 2012, it wasn't posted on the BIE site for several days.
Dozens of news bureaus are now reporting that Milan did, indeed, win. Milan received 86 votes and Izmir received 65 votes.
What a shame on you!I do not really believe that the results of the EXPO voting are exactly true.Since they announced that the winner of EXPO had been İzmir at first.Subsequently they announced that they had already made a mistake about the city which was the winner or which city will host EXPO 2015.Anyway,we did not rely on the voting.In fact,we think that it based on a big chicanery There are plenty of people who are in favour of this idea in the world.This voting was happened in a hit and miss way!
